It's a new month! I heard something rather eye-opening this week. "The idea of holiness is MORE than being "set apart" for use by God." Which is the definition of kadosh (aka holy) but it is not its full meaning. Annnnnd we’re back to our regularly scheduled Torah portions this week! Ironically this week leads up to reading about Yom Kippur (a feast that Yeshua fulfilled aspects of during Passover with some interesting in sections). The last day of Passover- this portion deals with lots of different things like tithe, the Jubilee year, how to release slaves, and reminds of the 3 pilgrimage feasts and a brief recap for each one. The seventh day of Passover (Sunday, April 28 this year)- is the day we remember the crossing of the Red Sea. Perhaps the biggest, most notable miracle aside from creation and Yeshua's resurrection recorded. This is coming a little late, due to being out of town and having technical difficulties trying to share it from my phone. :) Tonight begins the Season of our Redemption! While leprosy might not be plaguing the church today– spiritual leprosy can certainly cause a LOT of trouble in the body. Today (April 8th) is the beginning of a new month on the biblical calendar! In Exodus 12, God tells Moses to let this be the beginning of months, and thus sets up the lunar calendar.
